After much waiting, we finally got our wedding video! We also had quite a few reproduced, and will be sending a copy of the CD in the mail with “thank you” cards in the next week or so.

(Hopefully, we’ll have time… Fingers crossed!)

But while you’re waiting for your copy, and for others who weren’t there, we’ve decided to post it online so you can watch it, too. From the arrival of the guests, to the reception, it was all captured on video.

You can see the entire ceremony (it’s a half-hour), where Sylvie and Michel make their vows to one and other in a beautiful mix of traditional and new. We did the hand-fasting ceremony, as well as the rose ceremony (instead of candles).

In all, it’s the most beautiful day of our lives, and we will cherish it forever. And we’re so glad we have you — including you watching this — to share it with us.

Also, you get to see the preparations, as well as reactions and comments from the wedding party, the guests, and the bride and groom.

Then, there’s the reception, where the fun begins — from the first dance and the cake cutting, to the famous bouquet and garter throw. (Along with a few surprises!)

Our family and friends had a blast, and we had a blast, too. We danced all night. Michel sang karaoke. Sylvie and the kids did, too. And yes, let’s not forget that we also had a very special guest singing as well — none other than the incomparable country superstar, Michael Lee Austin!
