Hired a Wedding Planner
Yesterday, we met with Stacey, our newest wedding planner. She owns her own wedding planning company called Marry Me Productions right here in Ottawa.
Stacey, who’s also exceptionally beautiful since I’m a sucker for brunettes with light-colored eyes (Rish’s hazel eyes make me melt each time I look at them!), really has “got it together.” She knew exactly what she was doing.
The reason we chose to hire her is based on 3 things…
- We didn’t want to worry about problems, missing elements, managing suppliers, etc on the most beautiful day of our lives. We want to have fun, relax and party! So it makes perfect sense.
- As we get close to the day, we — as well as our wedding party — have businesses to run, websites to handle, staff to manage, seminars to speak at, etc. So we simply don’t have a lot of time on our hands to handle everything.
- Stacey’s company, Marry Me Productions, not only has a great website and fabulously affordable services, but Stacey will also be featured on The Life Network, in a show called “Rich Bride, Poor Bride.” Check out her website for details.
From ensuring that the suppliers all do what they were supposed to do (and deliver on time), to setting up decorations and coordinating all the wedding day arrangements, Stacey will be handling all the gruntwork we simply don’t have time for.
It’s quite liberating, actually.
There’s just so much to do and plan for that getting a wedding planner simply makes sense. And given that we are business owners and service providers ourselves, where our time is much better spent on marketing and running our own businesses, hiring someone as competent as Stacey makes common sense.
I love her tagline: “Release Your Inner Diva.” That says a lot right there.
If you are getting married or know someone who will be, then we highly recommend Stacey.
You won’t be disappointed.
