Yes­ter­day, we met with Sta­cey, our newest wed­ding plan­ner. She owns her own wed­ding plan­ning com­pany called Marry Me Pro­duc­tions right here in Ottawa.

Sta­cey, who’s also excep­tio­nally beau­ti­ful since I’m a suc­ker for bru­net­tes with light-​​colored eyes (Rish’s hazel eyes make me melt each time I look at them!), really has “got it together.” She knew exactly what she was doing.

We met at a Star­bucks, and with note­pad and chec­klists in hand, she asked all the right ques­tions, took tons of notes and cove­red all the bases. We were hap­pily stunned.

The rea­son we chose to hire her is based on 3 things…

• We didn’t want to worry about pro­blems, mis­sing ele­ments, mana­ging sup­pliers, etc on the most beau­ti­ful day of our lives. We want to have fun, relax and party! So it makes per­fect sense.

• As we get close to the day, we — as well as our wed­ding party — have busi­nes­ses to run, web­si­tes to handle, staff to manage, semi­nars to speak at, etc. So we simply don’t have a lot of time on our hands to handle everything.

• Stacey’s com­pany, Marry Me Pro­duc­tions, not only has a great web­site and fabu­lously affor­da­ble ser­vi­ces, but Sta­cey will also be fea­tu­red on The Life Net­work, in a show called “Rich Bride, Poor Bride.” Check out her web­site for details.

From ensu­ring that the sup­pliers all do what they were sup­po­sed to do (and deli­ver on time), to set­ting up deco­ra­tions and coor­di­na­ting all the wed­ding day arran­ge­ments, Sta­cey will be hand­ling all the grunt­work we simply don’t have time for.

It’s quite libe­ra­ting, actually.

There’s just so much to do and plan for that get­ting a wed­ding plan­ner simply makes sense. And given that we are busi­ness owners and ser­vice pro­vi­ders our­sel­ves, where our time is much bet­ter spent on mar­ke­ting and run­ning our own busi­nes­ses, hiring someone as com­pe­tent as Sta­cey makes com­mon sense.

I love her tagline: “Release Your Inner Diva.” That says a lot right there.

If you are get­ting married or know someone who will be, then we highly recom­mend Stacey.
